The building allocated to the African Centre of Excellence on New Pedagogies in Engineering Education (ACENPEE) by Professor Ibrahim Garba, the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is ready for use with state-of-the-art furnishing and fittings.
The building, located beside the University’s Faculty of Education houses the offices of the Centre Leader, Prof. Raymond B. Bako, The Deputy Centre Leader, Prof. Abdulkarim S. Ahmed, The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Dr. Fatai O. Anafi, The Academic Coordinator, Dr. Baba Abdul, Partnership and Linkages Coordinator, Prof. Ayuba Guga, Outreach Coordinator, Dr. David O. Obada, Research Coordinator, Dr. Adrian Eberemu, Communication/ICT Officer – Dr. Suleiman A. Zubairu, Environmental and Safeguard Officer, Dr. Fatima B. Ibrahim, Gender Coordinator, Dr. Binta Abdulkarim, Project Accountant, Mal. Rabiu Musa, Procurement Officer, Engr. Bashir I. Garba, Internal Auditor, Mal. The swift allocation of the building to ACENPEE and the subsequent renovation, as the University’s contribution to the project, is part of the Vice Chancellors show of commitment to the ideals, aims and goals of the centre. The commissioning will soon take place to kick-start activities within the complex.
