INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR

  1. INTRODUCTION: Africa Centre of Excellence on New Pedagogies in Engineering Education (ACENPEE) intends to appoint External Auditor.     • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    2.1 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

    The interested service providers are required to submit the following:

    1. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC2 and CAC7.;
    2. Evidence of Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021) valid till 31st December 2022
    3. Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate (PENCOM Certificate) valid till 31st December 2022;
    4. Evidence of current industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2022;
    5. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) valid till 31st December 2022;
    6. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/1/2022 or valid Certificate issued by BPP;
    7. Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of ACENPEE or BPP is a former or present Director, stakeholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its submission are true and correct in all particulars:
    8. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021)
    9. Company profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deploy for the work, including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications (ICAN, CITN, ANAN and FRCN e.t.c).
    10. Evidence of company’s registration with the Office of the Auditor General for the Federation
    11. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least five (4) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years Including Letters of Award and evidence of Job Performance.

    2.2 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    1. For Joint Venture/Partners hip, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided (all theeligibility requirements are compulsory for each JV partner)
    2. All submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letter Head Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.), and e-mail address. The Letterhead Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

    3.0 SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENTS

    Interested Service Providers are expected to deposit their documents in a sealed envelope addressed to the Centre Leader – Africa Centre of Excellence on New Pedagogies in Engineering Education (ACENPEE) with the title and name of the bidder inscribed on the corner of the envelope and submit in the Tender Box at the ACENPEE centre building along ABU Business School Close off ABU PG School Road, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Kaduna State. The closing date for the submission of tender document is on or before 12.00 Noon of 10th August 2022.

    Please, ensure that you sign the Bid Submission Register when submitting the bid. As the Centre will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids.

    4.0 OPENING OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENTS

    The Expression of Interest documents will be opened immediately following the deadline for the submission of EOl at 12:00 noon on 10th August 2022, at the ACEPEE Centre Hall.

    5.0 GENERAL INFORMATION:

    1. Submissions must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized by the bidder.

    3. This expression of interest exercise shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the ACENPEE to award the contracts to anyone or even award of a contract at all.
    4. The Centre reserves the right to reject any submission and to terminate the selection process at any time without any lability.
    5. The Centre management reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claim made in the documents submitted by bidders.
    6. Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
    7. Only shortlisted consultants will be contacted for submission of request for proposal
